1. Tell me about your role at EKM

“I am the Creative Lead at EKM responsible for all things design, brand and creative, leading the creative direction of the company both online and offline. My main focus is online and leading my team of mini me’s to improve the overall user experience for potential and current EKM customers alike.”


2. Tell me a fun fact about yourself

“There is 2 of me, well kind of…I am an identical twin, he also works in the eCommerce industry, and may well come and join us at EKM in the near future!  #doubletrouble. I also like eating gravy granules.


3. What’s your favorite thing about working at EKM?

“The relaxed dress code by far. Being an avid gym goer I go to the gym straight after work (soon to be AT work with the arrival of our new office), so not only does it allow me to jump out of bed and slide on my comfy gym wear for work, it also saves me money on the amount of Fairy Non Bio capsules I buy (they’re expensive aren’t they?!). #winning.


4. Give me one eCommerce prediction for the next 3 years.

“Product visualisation will become a focus for online retailers and one industry that will see a shift will be the fashion/clothing industry. With virtual fitting rooms where you can virtually “try on” items of clothing based on your measurements to find the right style/fit/ size. People like to try things on but can’t do that online so it’s all about trying to bridge that gap and instill a bit of confidence in the shopper to take the plunge! We’ll see more utilisation of augmented reality (AR) too in a similar respect, for example being able to try on a watch on your wrist using your phone camera. The technology is available and some companies have adopted it already but I think it will filter through into the mainstream in the next few years.”
