We're looking for a System Administrator
EKM is the home to tens of thousands of online shops, each with their own shop owners and shoppers who rely on our system. You'll spend your time ensuring the network and servers at our Manchester based data centre are working flawlessly and supporting the network, servers and users at our head office in Fulwood, Preston.
We're looking for a friendly, approachable and talented individual, who is just at home managing servers and virtual machines as they are providing top class general IT support to their colleagues. You'll also be expected to take part in a weekly rota for out of hours emergencies.
You have in depth knowledge of Windows Server (2012+) including Active Directory and IIS.
You're a virtualisation expert and have proven experience with VMware vSphere.
You've configured firewalls and understand security and intrusion prevention and detection.
You appreciate the utmost importance of backups and have excellent knowledge of Veeam.
You love giving your colleagues friendly and personal support on their software and hardware issues.
You naturally document everything you do and love to share your knowledge with other people.
Hack time every Friday afternoon for working on your own projects.
